Utah Christmas Tree Permits 2024. The division of forestry, fire & state lands does not provide christmas tree/wood cutting permits.  — permits are offered through the bureau of land management and the national forest service.

All trees must be 20 feet or shorter.  — permits are available at a cost of $10 that allow people to cut their own tree on blm land in several designated areas across the state.
